Martin Rodarte is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who takes a generalist approach to psychotherapy, with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Martin is a CBT therapist who is a Certified Diplomate through the

Academy of Cognitive Therapists.

Martin has 10+ years of experience in the field of mental health and has worked with a wide array of clients, including women, men, young adults, Latino (services can be provided in Spanish), African American, and the LGBT+ population.

Martin has had formal training in the following psychotherapy treatments: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); he is also currently in training for AF-EMDR

[Attachment Focused-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing].

Other areas of focus include mindfulness, self-esteem/self-worth, depression, anxiety, sexuality, trauma, and crisis intervention.

Martin received two Bachelor's degrees from the University of California, Riverside in Women's Studies and in Sociology. He then obtained his Master's of Social Work degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
